Team Evaluation

OK since it is so early in the off-season there isn't a lot going on to talk about except, what did and didn't work this last season. Donovan's knee was certainly an issue for most of the season but I think that in the end he started looking pretty good. I wasn't happy with all the people talking about getting rid of him, especialy since the problem never has been with him, the WR's need some upgrading and that has been the main problem with this offence for the last several years, except for the Year when Big Mouth (TO) was there. The O-line did struggle a little this year but I think that will clear up with some work, and without replacing anyone. The Defence could use some depth but overall is in good shape for next year. I hope that Coach Reid dosen't waste his draft picks on defencive players unless he fixes the WR problem first.

First Post

This is the first post of what I hope to be an informative and well thought out weekly evaluation of the team I have loved and supported for nearly thirty years. I hope that other fans will read this blog and feel free to post their agreeement or disagreement with my observations. I am not a professsional sports writer and I don't have any inside connections but I have been a fan for many years, despite the fact that I live and grew up in "the land of the infidels" (about 63 miles from Dallas). I hear every day about how great the Cowboys are, thats partly why I first decided to become an Eagles fan, the other part is Jerry Jones, enough said. Because I live so far away I may not always be up to date on the latest thing going on, but I try to stay as informed as I can. I read Donnavan McNabb's blog and check with the team's website once a week, more often during the season, If I coment on something that has already been fixed, please let me know.
